Before I left for India I had one of the most amazing summers. I guess it was a prelude to an epic journey. I spent so much time with this guy that I've got a million photos of him. Now that summer has finally come out from its hiding spot, I feel like this summer could be a repeat offender. here's hoping. This ones for toby reid.
cheers!

India
Traveling by train through India is an experience that will stay in my mind and heart forever. It was crowded, louder than dynamite and dirtier than the downtown east side. It sure isn't the romantic vision that Wes Anderson leads us to believe. But without the train, India wouldn't be. And the experience wouldn't have been the same. Nothing beat the feeling of hanging off the side of the train, smoking a cigarette and watching the events of traditional life in India unfold from a speeding train. That was until I realized the infinite freedom of a motorcycle. There was no way we could have seen what we did from a speeding train...

Delta landfill
These photos aren't from India. I had to go out to the landfill in Delta so I took the opportunity to look around. It's pretty amazing there. Not only is it a landfill but also a nature reserve for bald eagles....
bizarre.

this old moment
Here's a few more from India.
First ones from our hotel room in an awesome castle. I'm pretty sure our room was haunted.

Companions
I landed in Mumbia, formally known as Bombay, on September 25th around 2:00am. Landing in any foreign city is a completely overwhelming experience. Especially in the middle of the night. Everything is unknown and seems unsafely exciting. You are fresh meat. And every single person at the airport knows it and is ready to milk you for all they can. You know it's happening but there is nothing you can do. It's the initiation. A test. To see if you can hack it. Friends are such a valuable resource.

A/F
I can't even describe the experience that India is. It seemed like every single day was full of contradictions. Events would unfold that would instantly make any foreigner want to go crawling back to their homeland and then, without warning, a complete 180. Something so unexplainable, something that seemed like Hindu magic would pull you back..

Adventure Forever
I don't really do this. Taking time to have my photos on some kind of website. But people keep asking about it so I guess I'll try to get it done. I have well over a thousand photos from my 5.5 month motorcycle adventure through India. I guess I'll share the gems, in no particular order, with everyone. So, here we go.
