summer of stand up 69

Before I left for India I had one of the most amazing summers. I guess it was a prelude to an epic journey. I spent so much time with this guy that I've got a million photos of him. Now that summer has finally come out from its hiding spot, I feel like this summer could be a repeat offender. here's hoping. This ones for toby reid.

India

Traveling by train through India is an experience that will stay in my mind and heart forever. It was crowded, louder than dynamite and dirtier than the downtown east side. It sure isn't the romantic vision that Wes Anderson leads us to believe. But without the train, India wouldn't be. And the experience wouldn't have been the same. Nothing beat the feeling of hanging off the side of the train, smoking a cigarette and watching the events of traditional life in India unfold from a speeding train. That was until I realized the infinite freedom of a motorcycle. There was no way we could have seen what we did from a speeding train...

Delta landfill

These photos aren't from India. I had to go out to the landfill in Delta so I took the opportunity to look around.  It's pretty amazing there. Not only is it a landfill but also a nature reserve for bald eagles....

bizarre.
